The long version

It started with changinghow I treated my own body.

The short version is on the front page. This is all of it, in order, including the parts that did not work.

Where it started

I was overweight and in pain, and I had stopped mentioning it.

The pain was in my knees. It is the kind of thing you stop bringing up, because there is nothing anyone can say. So you adjust instead. You take the stairs slower. You stop doing things you used to do without thinking about them.

I had never read a supplement label closely enough to understand it. I could not have told you what was in the bottle in my cupboard or where any of it came from.

The first change

More real food, and a Total Gym in the front room.

Nothing dramatic. I started eating more whole food and less of everything else, and I started moving again — light exercise, at home, on a Total Gym.

I felt better. I had a little more energy. I want to be straight about that, because most people telling a story like this skip to the good part: it helped, and it was not the answer.

Four years later

My wife and I were invited to a nutrition workshop.

The speaker was Louis Smith, teaching whole-food nutrition. I learned more in that one evening than I had in the previous four years — how to shop, how to actually read a label, how to juice properly.

Then he told me something I had never considered: that the supplements I was taking were synthetic, and that whole-food based nutrition was a different thing entirely. That is the sentence this whole website is built on.

What I changed

I switched what I was taking. Two products.

Pro Vitality and Omega-3 Plus. They are still the two I take every day.

I am not going to tell you what they did for my knees. By then I had been eating differently and moving for four years, and I genuinely cannot separate one from the other. What I can tell you is exactly what is in them and why I chose them — which is what the rest of this site is for.

Today

I went and got qualified, because I wanted to understand it properly.

I am a Certified Natural Health Professional through the Trinity School of Natural Health. It is a certificate, not a medical licence — I am not a physician, I do not diagnose anyone, and I will tell you so if you ask me something I am not qualified to answer.

Most of my time now goes on the same question that got me here: how the body uses what you feed it, and how the immune system does its work. If that is interesting to you, we will get along.

Now

Roughly twenty years apart. What sits between them is not a product — it is whole food, exercise I kept doing, a lot of reading, and staying consistent long after the novelty wore off.

The people I work with

Real people, powering their bodies.

This is the community I get to be part of — people learning how to look after their bodies, using nutrition to help power them, and encouraging each other along the way. It is not about one product. It is about what we learn together.

  • Before and after: the same woman, seated in a coral top, then standing in a black top and jeans
  • Before and after: the same woman, pale and lying down, then smiling at a NeoLife event
  • Before and after: the same man, seated on a couch, then standing in a black button-down shirt
  • Before and after: the same woman, in a hospital bed, then smiling at a shopping centre
  • Before and after: the same older man, seated with a cane, then standing outside smiling

Want to learn what they learned? It starts with a conversation.

Straight answers

Before you ask.

The questions people ask me most, answered the way I would answer them on the phone. Anything else — call or text 951-847-8360.

01What is NeoLife?

A nutrition company that has been making whole-food based supplements since 1958. They formulate and manufacture the products; I am an independent distributor, not the manufacturer.

02So what do you actually do?

I help people understand what they are taking and why. I am a Certified Natural Health Professional through the Trinity School of Natural Health, which is a certificate, not a medical licence. I am not a physician and I do not diagnose anything.

03How does buying work?

You order through my NeoLife store. NeoLife handles the checkout, the payment and the shipping — I never see your card details. I earn a commission when you buy through me, which is how this site pays for itself.

04What is the difference between synthetic and whole-food supplements?

A synthetic supplement supplies an isolated compound made in a plant. A whole-food concentrate supplies that compound together with the other constituents of the food it was drawn from. That difference is the reason this website exists.

05Will this fix my health problem?

I cannot tell you that, and anyone who does should worry you. Nutritional supplements are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. If you have a medical condition or take prescription medication, speak to your doctor before changing anything.

06Can I just ask you something first?

Please do. Call or text 951-847-8360, or use the form below. You will be talking to me.

Ready when you are

Everything I take, in one place.

You order through NeoLife. I get the commission, you get someone who picks up the phone.
