Privacy policy
Last updated October 4, 2026
The short version: I collect what you type into the contact form so I can reply to you, and — only if you tick the box — to send a short email series. I do not sell your information, I do not share it for advertising, and you can unsubscribe or ask me to delete it at any time.
Who this policy covers
This website, truthforlifenutrition.com, is run by Joseph Cordes, CNHP(“I”, “me”), an independent NeoLife distributor, under the name TruthForLife Nutrition. NeoLife does not run this website. When you follow a link to my NeoLife store, you are on NeoLife’s website, and NeoLife’s own privacy policy applies to anything you do there, including placing an order.
What you give me
When you use the contact form I receive:
- your name and email address;
- your phone number, if you choose to add it;
- your message;
- whether you asked to receive my email series.
If you call, text or email me, I receive whatever you send in that call or message.
What is collected automatically
- Where you came from. If you arrive from a link that carries campaign tags (for example utm_source), or from another website, that information is kept in your browser for the length of your visit and sent along with the contact form, so I know which of my posts or campaigns brought you here. It is not stored in a cookie.
- Hosting logs. Like every website, the host that serves these pages records technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, to keep the site running and secure.
- Embedded videos and fonts. Videos on this site that come from YouTube use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, which does not set YouTube cookies until you press play; once you do, Google’s privacy policy applies. The site’s fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
This site does not currently use advertising pixels, analytics cookies or any tool that tracks you across other websites. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.
How I use it
- to reply to your message, by email, phone or text as you prefer;
- if you ticked the box, to send you my five-email series on whole-food nutrition over about two weeks, ending with an invitation to talk;
- to understand which of my pages and campaigns are useful to people;
- to keep the site secure, prevent spam, and meet legal obligations.
I never sell your personal information, and I do not share it with anyone for their own marketing or for targeted advertising. Leaving a phone number does not sign you up for marketing texts.
Emails and unsubscribing
Every email in the series has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and most email apps also show an “Unsubscribe” button at the top. Either one stops the series straight away and cancels any emails that were still scheduled. You can also just reply and ask. Unsubscribing does not stop me replying to a message you send me.
Who helps run this site
A small number of service providers process information on my behalf, only to provide their service:
- Netlify — hosts the website, runs the contact form and stores form submissions;
- Resend — delivers the emails the site sends;
- Google — serves the fonts and, if you press play, YouTube videos;
- GoDaddy — manages the domain name.
These providers may process data in the United States. I may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long I keep it
I keep contact-form submissions for as long as we are in touch and for up to three years after we last spoke, then delete them — sooner if you ask. Hosting logs are kept by the host for its own short retention period.
Your choices and rights
You can ask me at any time what information I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and I will do so without charging you or treating you differently. Depending on where you live — for example California, under the CCPA — these are also legal rights. I will need to confirm the request comes from you, usually by replying from the same email address.
Do Not Track. Because this site does not track you across other websites, there is nothing for a browser’s “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. Neither signal changes how the site behaves.
Children
This site is written for adults and is not directed to children under 13. I do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent me their details, contact me and I will delete them.
Security
The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to submissions is limited to me and the providers above. No method of sending or storing information is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable care to protect what you send.
Changes to this policy
If I change how your information is handled, I will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
